John Terry has played last game for Chelsea, will miss his own Farewell after Sunderland sending off
John Terry has most likely played his last game for Chelsea.
And his last act as a Chelsea players will probably be the ignominy of being sent off during a defeat at the Stadium of Light, as he saw red at the death of Chelsea’s loss to Sunderland.
Terry had already been booked, and was sent off for a second yellow late on, although in truth his 2nd yellow could easily have been a straight red.
With just one game remaining of the campaign, it means Terry’s season is over – and hence Chelsea career.
With the club deciding against offering him a new contract, Terry is set to walk away from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, indeed next week was supposed to be his farewell party, with a big bash planned for afterwards.
It now looks like he’ll have to go ‘full kit’ to his on goodbye party. Oh the indignity of it.
