Watch Bishop Oyedepo pray 'Lord, if it’s your will to break up Nigeria, break it now'

The founder and presiding Bishop of the megachurch, Faith Tabernacle, Bishop David Oyedepo has invoked God’s curses on those fueling Southern Kaduna killings, saying God should break up Nigeria now if it is His will.

The Bishop, during a ministration rained down curses on those promoting the wanton killings, and equally said that God sent him to this continent as His apostle of liberation to stop it from decadence.
God sent me as His apostle of liberation to this continent to stop it from decadence.”
“I heard from God and He has proved it beyond measure. Therefore, every occultic root,
every political root of this uprising is cursed today!”
The congregation shouted “Amen!”
“All the northern forces that are sponsoring this uprising and killings, i decree the curse of God upon them.”
Continuing, he said, ”Lord, if it is your will to break up Nigeria, break it now!”

To his members, he said,
“Come on, pray in the spirit everybody. Pray in the spirit, open fire, call down the Holy Ghost fire to descend on the camp of the enemy. Enough is Enough!”
Speaks in tongues again.
“If Nigeria wakes up, wait for the church to rise. There will be no more nation, what nonsense.”
“What demonic devils. What Islamic demons. If Nigeria waits for the church to rise, Nigeria will disappear as a nation.”
Speaks in tongue.
“You mean government cannot protect people? What a mess!”
“Every agent of destruction in Government today, call fire down on their head, call fire down on their head.”
“Everyone sponsoring evil against the nation, let your fire fall on him!”
“A Boko Haram agent was captured and they said he escaped. Everyone connected to his escape, fire consume them, consume them, consume them!”

To his congregation, he said, “Go ahead and pray.”

Prays in tongue.

“Fire of the Lord consume them!”
“I was even told from report that they were targeting this church. I said what?”
“Even if I was asleep, if you see anybody here kill him! Kill him and spill his blood on the ground. I am saying that to you, what nonsense, what devil. You think our God is an idol?”

The faithful shouted “No!”

“If I put fire on your tail to overrun the city, you will do it in one minute. What is that? What devil?”
“I stand today with every authority on me, and I declare the Boko Haram camp cursed!”
“I declare their collaborators cursed! I decree their sponsors cursed!”
“Must the north continue to rule?”
“What devils!”
“God has anointed me to lead a revolution against the Islamic jihadist and as the Lord liveth and as the anointing of Jeru-Baal that’s on me, we declare them extinct in the name of Jesus!” “Amen!”
“You catch anyone that looks like them, kill him!”
“There is no reporting to anybody. Kill him! Pull off his neck! And we spill his blood on the ground. What nonsense.”
“They said why should Christians say they could defend themselves, hold it! What stupid statement, why should Christians say they could defend themselves? So, they should watch for you to put a knife to their necks?”
“You think we are dummies? What! What?”
“All those zeros census they are fake. Where are the human beings?”
“Where are they? We go around the place. Where are they?”
“We’ve never had a successful census in this country. Where are they?”
“Don’t mistake only those in politics as in power. The anointed in the Lord are the ones in power. By divine ordination, don’t mistake that.”
“There was a king in the land but Elijah was determining the events of the nation.”
“If i say it will not rain here for three years, it will not drop. What nonsense!”
“Who born their mother, who born their father? They are too small.”
“Come! Get excited and walk in confidence. Any devil that misbehaves around you will be slain by the fire!”
A thunderous “Amen” echoed from the congregation.

MMM Nigeria is back, 24 hours before announced opening date

MMM Nigeria has returned, 13th January, 2016,after freezing Nigerian users account in December, 2016.

Their statement below:
We are open!!!
Dear members,

The holidays are over, and we''re now open. Just as promised. (You might have already noticed that we always stick to our promises. :-)) Actually, we promised to be open on January 14, but we''re open now, January 13, as you can see, which is a day earlier. (Well, I hope, the members of the System will forgive us for that. :-))
It''s related to the hysteria raised by the authorities and the mass media around MMM. By
joining forces, they''ve managed to nearly give the members of the System a heart attack and have frightened them out of their wits. Poor souls don''t know what to expect. Will we open again or not? :-))
This is why we''ve decided, considering the situation, to reach out to the members, reassure and cheer them up by opening a little earlier. After all, Together We Can Change The World! :-))
Here we go.
1. As of this notice, MMM resumes its usual operation. You can now create your GH-requests.
2. However, it''s obvious that panic will reign in the first few days after the re-opening of the System. We’re likely to be deluged by GH-requests. Therefore, we''re going to make gradual paybacks by setting internal output limits. In other words, we will only pay a certain amount per day. Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal.
We''re the ones setting the limits, so it''s completely under our control, and we are not expecting any emergencies in principle. Have no fear and go on about your business as usual. :-))
As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to the members with small PH amounts. The richer can wait. Moreover, we''ve warned you repeatedly to only provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it. :-))
This is the way it''s going to be.
Hoping for your kind understanding, Sergey Mavrodi. We Change The World!
P. S. I''d like again to call on the authorities and the mass media: Please, leave us alone! Have mercy on people.

Pope Francis tells story of a beautiful woman who had an abortion just to preserve her figure

Using a woman who had an abortion to preserve her looks, Pope Francis took aim at the modern world's obsessions with power, success and beauty.
During his series of catechesis on Christian hope at his Wednesday General Audience, the Pontiff told a story dated from his time as Bishop of Buenos Aires, of a very beautiful woman who "bragged of her beauty"
"She said, as if it was natural, 'Yes, I had to have an abortion because my appearance is important'," the 80-year-old,said.
''When values such as physical beauty, health become idols to which everything must be sacrificed they create confusion in our spirit and in our hearts.
"Rather than promoting life, they drive us towards death," he added in comments that also targeted "power, success and vanity with their illusions of eternity and omnipotence."
Taking issue with the false idols offered by our modern world, Pope Francis at hisWednesday General Audience said that “hope is a primary need in man” but that we can get lost in our search for security by trusting in the false hopes offered by idols.

He said the Scriptures teach us that side by side with authentic hope, born of trust in God’s word, we can be tempted by false hopes and worldly idols, like money, power or physical beauty.
Idols, he said,

“confuse the mind and heart, and, instead of favoring life, they lead to death.
He went on to say,
"Faith is trusting in God, but there comes a moment in which [we], confronted with life’s difficulties, experience the fragility of that trust and feel the need for other certainties, more tangible and concrete.”
The Scriptures, especially the prophets and wisdom writers, he said, reveal the fleeting nature of idols and the hope they offer. In Psalm 115, the Psalmist ironically presents these idols as silver and gold, made of human hands.

"The message of the Psalm is very clear," Pope Francis said, "one who places their hope in idols becomes like them: empty images with hands that don’t touch, feet that don’t walk, mouths that cannot speak. One has nothing else to say and becomes incapable of helping, of changing things, of smiling, giving of oneself, and of loving."

In contrast, God is always greater than we are, making us incapable of reduce God to our size, made in our own image and tailored to our desires.

Mikel Obi reveals why he moved to China

Super Eagles captain and former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has explained his recent move to the Chinese Premier League to team up with Tianjin Teda. He said the move was primarily done to aid Nigeria’s push to be at the 2018 World Cup in Brazil. Mikel was frozen out of the first team picture by coach of Chelsea Antonio Conte, but the captain of the Nigeria team remained a regular for the national team despite his lack of games at club level. He decided to move to Tianjin Teda on a three year deal in order to get playing time, and despite the fact that he will be getting double his former pay in China, the 29 year old insist the move wasn’t all about money. “I could easily have stayed in Chelsea for the remaining six months of my contract but it won’t be in the best interest of my nation, as they need me match fit when the World Cup 2018 qualifiers resume”, Mikel told Owngoalnigeria.com. It wasn’t an easy decision to make but I seriously need matches to stay fit for Nigeria. Nigerians don’t deserve to miss out of the World Cup after back to back failure to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations”.
